Last Sunday, Mrs. Sampada from the Kothrud Just Swap group posted about her Merritt sewing machine.
The very next day, she received a call from a gentleman who had come to know about the post through his wife’s workplace. They visited to see the machine — and shared that they were hoping to buy it for their daughter, who is learning to sew.
The exchange was simple, but meaningful. A father supporting his daughter’s skill, and a machine finding a second life in a home where it would be used with care.
What might have become clutter in one house became a tool of learning and empowerment in another.
Sometimes, that’s all a swap needs to be.
